In most cases, Derby residents can dispose of household trash and yard waste free of charge at the Transfer Station. However, there is a set fee for commercial users. Click here for disposal fees.
Derby residents and commercial operators have the option of bringing solid waste to the Derby Transfer Station, which is operated by the City’s curbside municipal solid waste collection vendor.
Derby Transfer Station is also a disposal site for environmentally unfriendly items such as electronics, fluorescent bulbs, car tires, lead-acid batteries, and waste oil. Derby residents may dispose of these items free of charge.
